Mr. Rantz, Jr. has practiced for over twenty years in the areas of real estate, corporate transactional law, real estate litigation and commercial finance. As counsel to local, regional, and national businesses, he has experience drafting and negotiating numerous types of agreements, including sales, leases, construction contracts, vendor agreements, employment contracts, non-compete agreements, shareholder agreements, stock purchase agreements, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Rantz has worked with both private and public organizations during his career, including but not limited to several elementary schools in New Orleans as general counsel. He also operates Black & Gold Title, L.L.C., the Firm’s title company, which is an agent for First American Title Insurance Company of Louisiana. As a licensed title agent, Mr. Rantz has conducted numerous residential and commercial closings during his career. Mr. Rantz has represented lenders throughout Louisiana in connection with real estate and commercial matters. Additionally, he has represented numerous borrowers, both local and national, in connection with acquisitions and refinances secured by real estate.
